All day and night out
Met up with my dearest friends Ain and Azah (finally!). We had lunch at Raffles, mooched around Ain's office before going off for ice cream at Esplanade. Walked around, being touristy in our own country - am so glad I have friends who have the same daft ideas. We still haven't walked the bridge to Beer Garden, babes!!!!
Entries have been slow in coming these days - just feel do out of sorts and a little disconnected from reality. Drag myself to school each day, without purpose. This has ceased being fun for me. While, perhaps, fun is not the ultimate goal in life, I don't think perpetual stress is a way to live out one's life. I have other things I want to do, and it seems that school is just holding me back, taking up my time and distracting me from learning what I want to learn, instead of it being prescribed to me. I used to want to do honours so much because having an honours degree meant so much then. But the more I'm immersed in the 'academic' culture, the more I'm inclined to think academia is not for me - not if I want to learn. Hee hee.
