My house is shaping up slowly but surely. Intended big move: after exams! So, be ready for parties after the fifth.
In the meantime, for those who want to buy me housewarming presents (not that its obligatory, really) I am putting up a list of stuff, just to make everyone's life easier (hee hee...this idea is v popular amongst some quarters!)
For those who are as prosaic as me, the following is a list of things I need:
Pillows
Cushions
Knives and block
Ladles, that thing for frying things (in Malay: senduk, sudip), tongs.
Tupperware of all shapes and sizes
Rice Cooker
Blender
Push pedal rubbish bin
For the more romantic, things I want:
Crabtree and Evelyn Drawer Liners (Lavender)
or C&E drawer sachet stuff
Plain wood frames
Marks and Spencers scented tealights (pear)
red mosaic glass tealight holders (i think banyan tree or british india, or lims at holland shopping centre)
For the record, my colour scheme is cream and pale blue. :)

tapi kau dah belu the lavender smelling thing.. hehe, banyak nah ke drawer kau tu??
anyway, shall volunteer to get one of the electrical thingies lah(lucky u didnt ask for a fridge or smthg), ladle and knives ni semua aku tak skill carik. Or perhaps if I come across nice nice cushie wushie, will get u those. sigh....
at least it's not monetary gifts preferred..horror to the malay soul
ha ha. i do have that many drawers. closet macam superstar (to quote nazir. hah!). cushie wushie!!! so fun. in cream or blue please. ha ha. ada colour concept. btw, fridge my father belikan. ha ha. :)
ok great! that list will definitely make our lives easier. wah so excited about your big move....slumber party in mind but hhmmm maybe we can do with a baking or cooking session instead, or maybe just popcorns and dvds when nazir's away at work! heh.
