Statement and Commentary
There had been explosions on the London Tube and a bus.
We are both fine. We were both at home when it happened.
The scary part is that some of the explosions occured near Nazir's school. He takes the bus/Tube to get there. But, alhamdullilah, he decided not to go to school today cause we had returned home late yesterday.
It is quite strange. Surreal. All public transport has been halted. Everyone is advised to stay put. Those in Central London can't go in or out. And I'm at home pecking at the computer, watching the news. It is no different being here than in Singapore.
Within hours, all fingers pointed to Al-Qaeda. Bugger.

Yes...

And all Muslims all over...
Am sorry I am quite sceptical of the 'stemming of backlash'despite all that is said by the ministers and media.
We,the public, are really none the wiser.
Just be careful.
And yes, spread the love of Muslims to all.
Justice is in Allah's eyes. Not Man.
But girl, sorry to point this out!
Double check on your grammar can?!

I deleted my own comments. How great is that?
Personally, I appreciate the effort anyway. While there will always be some crazies seizing the opportunity, it is heartwarming to know that there have been calls to not let the community be divided by this. It is quite a change from when the JI thing in S'pore happened - people viewing any Muslims as suspects.
Justice IS in Allah's eyes. But that doesn't mean we cannot think. Or arbitrate. We were put on this earth for a reason. I might be wrong, I might be right (viz. gross injustice. I assume, that is what you are referring to.). Just because justice is in Allah's eyes doesn't mean I cannot judge for myself. If it does mean that, then all human courts and laws are pointless. Is it? Then, why did God give us the Quran and Hadith if justice is for God to decide?
Thanks for your advice on my grammar. I'm sure you would know better.
:D
Woit!
Marah ke pa!?!
Peh vehemant this comment, panas telinga aku!
hehehe....
Yes,gal..I do agree with yr points that we all have that responsibility to judge for ourselves, arbitrate etc yadayadayada...
Human truth is,I just feel, never on par with the TRUTH.
Wat they did, they deem as justifiable.
Wat they did, we judge them as '______' (watever we choose to judge them).
When I watch war movies, sometimes I wonder if the men behind the lines know, understand and internalise their fight.
Sometimes,we are just so blind.
Not sure if I want to be like that.
But take heart,gal.
All happens for a reason.
And hey! I didn't advise you...takmo ah tersinggung!
Me know better?! Ahahaha....
